| I haven't played on my sin for a little while, but I must admit I was never completely convinced by Snap Kick. I used it as a knockback, but isn't there a silencing effect ? Is it just that it doesn't work on mobs, only in pvp ? | |

| It is a knockback and does silence as well. I've seen it work on players. But as with all knockdowns, most of them have little effect on soldiers in heavy or plate. | |

| Snap kick is a great skill because it is a high damage knockback. It does some great damage when you use it, and if you use it when the mobs shields are on the sides and not over his head, you will almost always knock him down. Of course, heavy armored players and mobs much higher in level than you will seem invulnerable to the knock back effect.
And I don't believe there is a silencing effect to it, I've not noticed that.

| There is a silence. It's in the description and I've had it happen to me. | |

I know it's in the description, but I've still never noticed it. I've used it against players and spell caster mobs, and it seems like they just get right back up and start casting.

| As I've said, I've been silenced by it before. It does not however last all that long. | |

| I've been silenced by assassins as well, I'm just not sure it was due to Snap Kick. Other combos silencing people from the sin ? We might just have to try it out next time I see you, Callesto ! | |

We might just have to try it out next time I see you, Callesto ! While not in the description I don't believe, Lethargy I/II/III combos and Atrophy (only learned through lotus tree) definately silence their target. However, the silence lasts but a few seconds, while the lethargic damage debuff lasts several seconds longer and the combo itself is not very high damage, I mainly save it for when a mob is attacking me or a high damage class is trying to hit me, and don't really bother to just utilize it on casters. It's cooldown is too long to waste it on a caster which an assassin could usually drop pretty quickly.

| I've been silenced by Snap Kick many times, though since I'm a guardian it has never once knocked me down. Not sure how long the silence lasts though since I'm not a caster and pay no attention. It's basically useless against us. | |

| Lethargy I definitively doesn't silence. Tried it yesterday on my friend ToS, to no avail. | |

| If your specced into Lotus Miasma, grim corruption then miasma does a long silence. Snap Kicks Silence does work as well, and Atophy improved only has a chance to fizzle added, thus buffs or heals would not be effected. | |

| Yes, the major update for assassins definitely has the silences working properly. They come in handy during minis for sure. | |
